Not that I am very fond of Michael Govan these days, after his stint trying to cut the incredible, irreplaceable film program at LACMA, but I am happy to learn that late September, the county museum is hosting a show on Spanish painter, Luis Meléndez. Featuring about thirty paintings, several of the pieces have never been exhibited before.
