Food Photographs of the Czech Avant-Garde
This afternoon I wandered into the library for some inspiration. I came across a book by Vladimir Brigus called "Czech Photographic Avant-Garde." Though many of the featured artists were starving under the communist regime, these photographers captured food, or should I say the absence of it, in a really sensitive, beautiful way. I especially recommend looking at the work of Jaroslav Rössler and Jaromír Funke.
